As usual we’ve been very busy over at the Zeep workshop making new soap and also selling at a local farmers market. If you live in Olympia we’re selling at the Tumwater Market on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. It’s located on Capitol Blvd. right next to the Eagan’s Drive In, come say hi. We’re also gearing up to sell at a few fests this summer, one of which being the Olympia Hemp, Love and Freedom Fest towards the end of August. We’re excited about that one, should be a good time. Now on to the soap!
New Soap Varieties
[u]Cardamom Basil[/u]
A crisp and spicy bouquet awakens the mind. Quite unique and contains Almond oil and Hazelnut oils to smooth and soften.
[u]Bergamot Mint & Lemon[/u]
Flowery notes with hints of citrus in this aromatic bar. If you like our sugar scrub with the same scent, try out the soap!
The James River soap has been a big hit once again and we’re currently sold out. Keep an eye out for it’s return in a few weeks. Also, if you’ve not tried out the Vetiver & Fennel soap you’re really missing out. By far, this is one of our favorite bars, we can’t get enough of it. Don’t be scared off by the fennel, it blends extremely well with vetiver. Trust us!
New Products On The Way
[u]Toothpaste[/u]
We’re experimenting with making our own toothpaste and so far so good. This is a vegan product and we’ll be offering 3 different flavors to start. Hopefully we’ll be launching this new product in the next Zeep update. If you have a request for a flavor to be available please let us know. We’ve been thinking about the typical ones so far which would be Peppermint, Spearmint and Wintergreen. Maybe Fennel also? Let us know your thoughts.
[u]Mens Shaving Cube[/u]
We’ve created a shaving bar for men (I’m sure women will like the spicy scent also) that comes in a handy cube shape. You can use it as is or place it in a cup to be used with a bristle shaving brush. This bar is scented with Allspice Essential Oils and contains Kaolin Red Clay to help with oil removal and Aloe Butter to soften skin after the shave. This one is currently curing on the rack and has 2 and a half more weeks to go.
Zeep Wholesale
We’ve been working very hard here locally to contact and talk with local shops in the downtown area and co-op stores about carrying our soap. Things are looking good and we want to keep reaching out so please let us know if you have a local shop in your town that you would like to see our soap carried in. Send us the store name and any other contact info you may have and we’ll send them a promo package right away. We appreciate all the help we can get.
