What is the least toxic dental impression material?

Hi there,

I had a two dental impressions made in January and two just last week (one each time for temp and one for perm) and then I have backed out of the order as either I found I was allergic to a component or read something about another. I know the ‘purple’ impression material with ether? or something may be worse? Is the vinyl less toxic? :astonished:

Thanks a lot in advance…

In that such case, it’s always better to consult with the dentist in your area rather then taking some action which others have performed in their case.

Thanks for the post.

I’ve had a friend who had to deal with this recently. Porcelain or gold was the answer they got overall. Also, if you can find a dentist who knows which meridian point end at which teeth you will get some really useful insights into a bigger picture of health.
