I stand my feet slipping through the slats
I’m fed powdered milk to make me fat
My only scenery’s metal bars
Not for me the sky or the stars
Apparently I will soon be veal
Nobody bothered to ask how I feel
I will be hung up by my feet
To yield expensive lighter meat

I‘ll be better in plastic on your market shelf
