Vegan with limitations, iso 'how to' ideas

Hi, I’m interested in making a change to more vegan eating patterns and am here hoping for some suggestions on implementation. I’m very allergic to soy, have to limit beans to small portions and am very committed to whole food eating (so I want to avoid things like seitan and protein powders). I would love any suggestions on ways to get whole proteins. Thanks!!
