Tomaisin Chili Sauce

This sauce is good with potatoes and bread crumbs that are stir fried until browned together, from what I’ve tried. Initially I was blending raisins with tomato paste to see if it tasted like a fruit sauce. Not quite, that’s more like ketchup, so I added chili powder to have it with the potatoes, which tastes more like I planned it that way.

Raisins blend easier when pre soaked in water or grape juice. Blend one or two ounces of those in a few ounces of liquid, then add 6 ounces of tomato paste and mix further, along with chili powder to taste (or sprinkle that on top and use it as ketchup otherwise).
