Surviving Covid19 pandemic while being vegan

So beside all the usually advised measures, like washing hands and avoiding people, what else can we do to survive this coronavirus pandemic?

First thing that comes to my mind is vitamin D.
There is research that vitamin D deficiency compromises the immune system.
Since it’s spring most of the people in northern hemisphere that do not supplement are deficient in vitamin D. This is especially true for vegans that do not supplement - because plants do not have this vitamin. Only mushrooms have it when exposed to UV rays.
So make sure you get adequate vitamin D in advance. Don’t wait till you are sick.

There are some “good” news though:

99% of Those Who Died From Virus Had Other Illness, Italy Says

A balanced whole plants diet protects from these chronic diseases. So if you have been vegan for a while it pays off now. But it does not mean that you will not get pneumonia complications and need intensive care - it just means that you will not die if you get them.

Do you have addition tips for our fellow vegans?
