Cake o 1.5 cups flour o 1 cup milled cane sugar o 1/4 cup cocoa powder o 2 teaspoon baking powder o 1/2 teaspoon salt o 1/3 cup vegetable or canola oil o 1 teaspoon vanilla extract o 1 cup orange tea (cooled), thin orange juice, or water Frosting o 1 stick soy margarine, softened but not melted o 10 oz marmalade o Milled cane sugar, to taste o Dash of salt o Vanilla extract (optional) o One bag dairy-free semi-sweet chocolate chips (or two 10-oz bars), melted o 1/2 cup cocoa powder o 1/4 cup soymilk or orange juice
Preheat oven to 350 F (175 C). Grease 2 round cake pans with veg. Shortening or oil.
Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl, and the wet ones in another. Then add the liquid to the dry mixture, and blend.
Pour the batter into the 2 cake pans, and bake for 25 minutes or so, until a fork stuck in the middle comes out clean.
