Kahlua

INGREDIENTS

* 2 1/2 cups sugar
* 1/4 cup instant coffee
* 1 liter / 2 pints water
* 3 cups vodka
* 1 broken vanilla bean pod

METHOD
Blend together sugar, coffee, and water then simmer for 1 1/2 hours then allow mixture to cool.

Add vanilla pod and vodka and bottle.

Shake everyday for 3-4 weeks before serving. Store in a dark place or a brown paper bag before serving.
