Electric Eel Light Show

Electric eels aren’t really eels at all. They’re more like catfish. Anyway, these river monsters are basically living batteries. They are capable of zapping up to 650 volts of electricity into predators or into their prey.

The setups in the following video were designed to look like predators in order to get these animals to leap out of the water and shock them. The lights that are installed inside of these setups turn on as a result.
