Vegan Bean and Fresh Herb Sandwich Spread or Dip


* 3 cloves garlic
* 2 16 ounce cans Great Northern Beans, rinsed and drained
* 3 tbsp lime juice
* 2 tbsp olive oil
* 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
* 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
* 1 tsp salt
* 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

With the motor running, drop the garlic cloves into a food processor or blender. Add Great Northern Beans, lime juice and olive oil; puree until smooth. Add basil, thyme, salt and pepper; pulse until incorporated and the herbs are coarsely chopped. Serve chilled.
