Just signed up!

Hi all! I’m Michelle and I’m a new vegetarian hoping to become a vegan one day :slight_smile: I found this site after Googling vegetarian and vegan forums/blogs. I’ve cut out milk a long time ago (I prefer almond over soy, and throw a little coconut in there every so often), just tossed yogurt, I really enjoy the non-dairy frozen desserts aka ice cream, but cheese is a little more difficult. My family is very worried about all the nutrition controversy with a non-animal base diet, so can anyone provide words of wisdom? I love leafy greans, learning my way around beans, just discovered nutritional yeast; can’t wait to learn new things!!!
