I saw a relative who has cancer and I never want to smoke

Recently I saw a relative who has cancer, who I have not seen for a very long time.
I smoked my last cigarette after seeing him and have not smoked for two days.
I never want to smoke again but it is a hard habit to break.
After seeing the state of my relative, I want to do whatever will help me to never smoke another cigarette again in my life.

It is good that it had that effect on your life because there are a lot of people who seem to be blinded with what is happening around them. I never smoked and have no plans of starting now and I would just want to commend you for what you did.

Though you have to remember that stopping has to be done gradually or it might take its toll on you when you suddenly experience withdrawal.
