Frozen vegetables.

Anybody knows if frozen vegetables are less nutritive then fresh?
I mean vitamins etc.
And what is the proportion?

Another question:
Do you know any good company that makes high quality frozen vegetables?

Frozen vegetables have virtually the same nutrientvalue as fresh. In fact, in wintertime, frozen vegetables can actually be more nutritious than fresh since they are picked at their best and processed close to the fields, which limits nutrient loss. Fresh vegetables can lose goodness during transportation and storage.

Frozen vegetables are at least as nutritious as fresh vegetables — and in some situations may actually be more nutritious. Frozen vegetables, are not heated up, and so do not undergo the same denaturing of proteins or loss of vitamins in waste water.
