Bills to Open Public Lands to Hunting

Unfortunately for the hunted wildlife in America, things have turned very ugly. First the number of those hunting is now increasing. And to top that off two bills in Congress that would open up our National Parks just got passed in Congress.

The first bill, H.R.4089, the Sportsmen’s Heritage Act of 2012, includes provisions to prohibit federal agencies from banning recreational shooting on federally managed public lands and to amend the Toxic Substances Control Act to exclude ammunition and sport fishing equipment, as well other provisions to address hunting and fishing on federal lands, including designated wilderness areas was passed on April 17, 2012.

The second bill introduced in the Senate, the Sportsmen’s Act, similar to the one passed in the House just recently got passed.

The next step is to reconcile the House version with the Senate and when accomplished it will be sent to Mr. Obama for his signature.

It seems the hunters are heck bent to stop all opposition to hunting and ram it down the throats of everyone in this country, regardless of their feelings to this most abominable of all “sports?”.

If we are to keep this legislation from becoming law we must DELUGE MR. OBAMA WITH PHONE CALLS, E-MAILS, FAXES AND LETTERS. And we must do it now as time is of the essence.
