Janeadamas2899 Thank you for your thread! Just yesterday I decided to improve my BMI, I’m currently 20 lbs away from my target weight so I still have quite the journey. I was looking for an exercise(s) to achieve and I found your comment. I live in New Brunswick so the weather it not 100% on my side right now for outside walks so I was thinking on just walking inside my building apartment, it’s got stairs (6 floors total) so I was thinking on adding those to my daily routine as well. The building also has a gym with treadmills but I always get bored really quick, even with music or TV, I guess I just don’t like walking without getting anywhere. By any chance do you know if just walking (15-30 min daily) inside my building is a good substitute to walking no a treadmill? I’d say yes but I’m not sure as I think that it might be just my wishful thinking. If it’s not then it’s okay, I guess I’ll just have to power through treadmill session, at least until winter is gone.

Just as an update, I started walking inside my building and climbing the stairs as well, I watched this short tutorial on how to use stairs the right way to lose weight. My initial plan is to include everyday, a 30 minute total exercise spread out the day. Yesterday I was watching educational videos for my class online geometry tutor and today I’ve been just listening to music. It’s solid start, I prefer going slow and steady.
