Another from BC :)

Hi there, I’m from BC, Canada…

I have Celiac disease and have been eating completely gluten-free for 2 years (since diagnosis). Prior to that I had been an on-off vegetarian for 8 years or so, but wasn’t absorbing nutrients properly, so went back on meat to get the protein and iron and vitamins I thought I needed…now I know that it was my destroyed villi stopping me from absorbing nutrients!

I’m a vegetarian now going vegan. After a few days I already feel great, and I’m reading and learning as much as I can. I have no problem with other people eating meat and animal products, it just is not for me.
